Proxy Page Many of The Louis Calder Memorial Library's **Licensed Resources (E-journals, e-books and Databases) are restricted to registered students, staff, and faculty at the University of Miami School of Medicine (UMSM). Resources are available to our on-campus registered users as well as off campus registered users. Off campus registered UM student, staff and faculty can access our resources via our proxy server. **EZproxy Access The Louis Calder Memorial Library is now using EZproxy to provide off-campus access to the Library's resources for UMSM students, faculty and staff. EZproxy requires no configuration on your part. No more changing your browser settings as was the case when using our WAM proxy access. However, in order to use our EZproxy server you must be a registered library user with a valid barcode which is issued at the time of registration. If you have any problems and or questions please contact the systems department at 305-243-5530 or email us at: evinson2@med.miami.edu **Conditions of Use and Licensing Restrictions for Electronic Resources Many of the electronic resources available through the Louis Calder Memorial Library are governed by license agreements which restrict use to University of Miami's students, faculty or staff members or anyone using a computer in the University of Miami, Louis Calder Memorial Library. It is the responsibility of individual users to ensure that these resources are used for personal and/or educational non-commercial purposes without systematically downloading, distributing, printing or retaining substantial portions of the information. Examples of prohibited uses include, but are not limited to, such actions as downloading or printing entire journal issues or electronically transmitting online content to mailing lists or electronic bulletin boards. Keep in mind that restrictions vary from resource to resource. Breaches of the University's contractual arrangements with publishers could result in the suspension of access to the resources for the entire University of Miami, School of Medicine's community.
